William Orbit
William Orbit, born William Wainwright on December 15, 1956, in Shoreditch, Hackney, is an acclaimed English dance music producer. He is known for his collaborations with renowned artists such as Madonna and Blur. Orbit was a founding member of Guerilla Records, named after his studio, and O Records. He has used various aliases throughout his career, including Bassomatic, Billy Beat, and Strange Cargo, among others. Some of his popular collaborations include "Frozen" and "Ray of Light" with Madonna, and "Coffee & TV" with Blur. His discography includes albums like "The Painter" (2022) and "My Oracle Lives Uptown" (2009).
