Whiteheart
White Heart, also known as Whiteheart, was an American contemporary Christian music and pop-rock band that originated in the United States. The band was active from 1982 to 1997 and was known for its contributions to the genres of contemporary Christian music and Christian rock. The founding members were Billy Smiley and Mark Gersmehl, who were joined by a rotating lineup of musicians over the years. White Heart released thirteen albums, with their last album coming out in 1997. The band was signed to several labels throughout their career, including Home Sweet Home, Sparrow, Star Song, and Curb.

The band's debut album was released in 1982, followed by several others over the years, such as "Vital Signs" in 1984 and "Freedom" in 1989. Despite numerous lineup changes, the band maintained a significant presence in the Christian music scene and was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame on November 6, 2010. Notably, Rick Florian, who initially worked as a roadie for the band, became the lead singer in 1986. The band never won a Dove Award but remained influential in their genre. After the band's disbandment, members pursued various endeavors, with Smiley founding Cul-de-Sac Records and Gersmehl continuing to write music. Florian transitioned into a career as a real estate agent while still engaging in music projects.
