Walter Bullock
Walter Bullock was an American song lyricist and screenwriter, born on May 6, 1907, in Shelburn, Indiana. He attended DePauw University and began his career in Hollywood in 1936, collaborating with many prominent film composers. In the same year, he achieved notable success with the songs "Magnolias in the Moonlight" and "When Did You Leave Heaven?" He worked alongside his brother, James Russell Lowell Bullock, and they released a record on the Champion label in 1930. Bullock was nominated for two Academy Awards during his career. His selected filmography includes titles such as "The Gang's All Here" (1943), "Repeat Performance" (1947), "Out of the Blue" (1947), "Adventures of Casanova" (1948), "Golden Girl" (1951), "The Farmer Takes a Wife" (1953), and "The I Don't Care Girl" (1953). Walter Bullock passed away on August 19, 1953, in Los Angeles, California.
