Vladimir Kurlin was a Soviet and Russian oboist and music teacher.
Life and career: He was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, on March 3, 1933, and passed away on November 29, 1989. He became a professor at the Leningrad Conservatory and was honored with the titles of Honored Artist of the RSFSR and Honored Art Worker of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.
