Tomás Luis de Victoria
Tomás Luis de Victoria (1548?-1611) was an ordained Catholic priest renowned for his contributions to sacred choral music. Celebrated as one of the finest church composers of his era, Victoria's inventive compositions were highly esteemed. Despite a period of neglect following his death, his music experienced a revival in the late 20th century. Some of his notable works include "O magnum mysterium," "Ave Maria," and "Tenebrae Responsories."
