Thierry Hazard
Thierry Hazard, born Thierry Gesteau on June 7, 1962, in Compiègne, France, is a French pop singer-songwriter. He grew up in Sèvres and began his music career in the 1980s as the lead singer of the band GPS (Garage Psychiatric Suburban). The band's guitarist, Tom "Backerfix" Darnal, later became the keyboardist for Mano Negra.

Hazard released his first solo single, "Poupée psychédélique," in 1988, though it initially went unnoticed. However, he gained significant popularity with the release of "Le Jerk!" in 1990, which became a major hit, reaching number two on the French charts. His debut solo album, "Pop Music," also released in 1990, was successful, featuring hits like "Les Brouillards de Londres," "Un Jour c'est oui, un Jour c'est non," and "Les Temps sont durs." The album included a cover of Michel Polnareff's "Tout, Tout, pour ma chérie."

In 1994, Hazard released his second album, "Où sont passés les Beatniks?" featuring singles such as "Julie est trop prude" and the title track, but these did not achieve the same level of success as his earlier work. Despite a brief period of prominence, his career in music was relatively short-lived, spanning from 1983 to 1994.
