Nicolas Jean-Pierre Patrick Dresti, born on March 5, 1975, in Nogent-sur-Seine, France, and raised in England, is a French-British singer-songwriter, DJ, and producer known by his stage name Space Cowboy. Dresti began his music career in 1992, initially recording under the names Vibes and DJ Apex. He later adopted various pseudonyms, including Nicky Fabulous, DJ Supreme, Kings of Rhythm, Loop Da Loop, and DJ Chrome, before settling on Space Cowboy in 2002.

As Space Cowboy, Dresti released his first official single, a cover of Prince's "I Would Die 4 U," which peaked at number 55 on the UK Singles Chart. His debut studio album, Across the Sky, was released in 2003, followed by Big City Nights in 2005, and Digital Rock in 2006. His fourth studio album, Digital Rock Star, was released in 2009, featuring singles like "My Egyptian Lover," which reached number 45 on the UK Singles Chart.

Space Cowboy is renowned for his collaborations with Lady Gaga, contributing to her albums The Fame and The Fame Monster. He co-produced and was featured on the track "Starstruck," and co-wrote and produced songs like "Monster" and "So Happy I Could Die." Additionally, he remixed several of Gaga's hits, including "Just Dance," "LoveGame," and "Poker Face."

Throughout his career, Dresti has been associated with labels such as Southern Fried, Tiger Trax, Cherrytree, Interscope, and Xenomania, and he continues to influence the electronic and pop music scenes with his dynamic and eclectic style.
