Russ Morgan
Russ Morgan, also known as Russell Morgan, was an influential American big band leader and arranger active during the 1930s and 1940s. He gained fame as one of the composers of the classic song “You’re Nobody till Somebody Loves You,” collaborating with Larry Stock and James Cavanaugh. Morgan was the first to record this song in 1944, solidifying his place in music history. Among his popular works are songs like "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down," "Cruising Down the River," and "So Tired."
