Roman Perucki
Roman Perucki, born on March 10, 1961, in Gdańsk, Poland, is a distinguished Polish organist, pedagogue, and cultural activist. He serves as a professor at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he completed his studies in the organ class under Professor Leon Bator in 1986. Perucki has refined his craft through master classes both domestically and internationally.

Since 1993, he has been the director of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk. He is also the chief organist at the Archcathedral Basilica in Gdańsk-Oliwa. His pedagogical contributions include leading the organ class at the Fryderyk Chopin Secondary School of Music in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz and conducting master classes in various countries including Germany, France, Italy, and Mexico.

Perucki's concert career is prolific, with over 2500 recitals performed in prestigious venues worldwide, such as Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. He has participated in numerous international organ festivals and served as a juror for organ competitions in cities like Gdańsk, Paris, and Kaliningrad.

As president of the Pomeranian Association "Musica Sacra," Perucki organizes significant musical events, including the International Organ Music Festival in Oliwa and the International Organ Competition named after J.P. Sweelinck in Gdańsk. His discography includes over 40 albums, with some achieving platinum and gold status. He has also recorded for various radio and television networks across Europe.
