Richard Page
Richard James Page, born on May 16, 1953, in Keokuk, Iowa, is an American musician renowned for his role as the lead singer and bassist of the 1980s band Mr. Mister. Raised in a musical family in Phoenix, Arizona, where his mother was the Assistant Director of the Phoenix Boys Choir and his father a church musical director, Page was influenced by iconic bands like The Beatles and The Beach Boys. After graduating from Central High School, he moved to Hollywood and began his music career.

In Los Angeles, Page collaborated with his friend Steve George, performing with notable acts such as REO Speedwagon and Kenny Loggins. Together, they formed the band Pages in the late 1970s, which later evolved into Mr. Mister with members Steve Farris and Pat Mastelotto. Mr. Mister achieved significant success with hits like "Broken Wings" and "Kyrie," both of which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and were featured on their acclaimed album "Welcome to the Real World" (1985).

Despite offers to join bands like Chicago and Toto, Page remained with Mr. Mister until the group disbanded in 1990. Their third album, "Go On..." (1987), showcased their evolving sound, while their final album, "Pull," recorded in 1989, was released posthumously in 2010. Beyond Mr. Mister, Page has worked as a solo artist, songwriter, and background singer, contributing to the music industry in various capacities from 1977 to the present.
