Paul Leo Politi, born on July 31, 1943, is an American songwriter renowned for his prolific collaboration with singer and songwriter Barry White. Politi and White co-wrote over 40 songs, including hits for Felice Taylor in the mid-1960s such as "It May Be Winter Outside (But in My Heart It's Spring)" and "Under the Influence of Love," both of which were later covered by Love Unlimited. Their song "I Feel Love Comin' On" gained international fame, becoming a hit in the United Kingdom and Europe.

In addition to his work with Barry White, Politi co-wrote "Those Oldies but Goodies (Remind Me of You)" with Nick Curinga for Little Caesar & the Romans in 1961. His songwriting credits extend to artists like Kenny Vance and the Planotones, The Love Unlimited Orchestra, Kylie Minogue, and Jay-Z, among others. Politi also contributed to Barry White's 1979 album, "The Message Is Love," with several songs charting on the US Billboard R&B chart.
