Ollie E. Brown
Ollie E. Brown, born on April 20, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, is an accomplished American drummer, percussionist, record producer, and session musician. He began his career in the early 1970s and quickly became a prolific session musician, contributing to over a hundred albums throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Brown has worked with notable artists such as Joe Cocker, The Temptations, Billy Preston, The Rolling Stones, Diana Ross, Van Morrison, and Sly and the Family Stone. He was also part of Stevie Wonder's band, Wonderlove, and participated in The Rolling Stones' Tours of the Americas '75 and Europe '76.

In the late 1970s, Brown collaborated with Raydio and later formed the dance-pop duo Ollie & Jerry with Jerry Knight. They achieved a Top 10 hit with "Breakin'... There's No Stopping Us" in 1984, which was featured in the breakdancing-themed film Breakin'. The duo also contributed to the soundtrack of its sequel, Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Beyond his work with Ollie & Jerry, Brown continued to produce and perform on numerous albums, including Michael Jackson's Bad and Ray Parker Jr.'s "Ghostbusters." He collaborated with artists such as Blondie, The Jacksons, La Toya Jackson, DeBarge, and Quincy Jones.

In addition to his music career, Ollie E. Brown is known for his work in the real estate industry in Los Angeles, California.
