Musumarra
Romano Musumarra, born on July 21, 1956, in Rome, Italy, is a distinguished composer, arranger, musician, and record producer. He began his musical journey as a child, learning to play the pipe organ at his church. Musumarra honed his skills at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, studying piano, composition, and conducting. In 1975, he co-founded the melodic pop-rock group La Bottega dell'Arte, achieving notable success in the 1970s. He also released an electronic album, "Automat," in 1978.

In 1983, Musumarra left the band to focus on arranging and composing, working with artists like Riccardo Cocciante and Mango. His breakthrough came in 1984 with Jeanne Mas's hit "Toute Première Fois," leading to further successes with Mas and other French artists. This prompted his move to France in 1985, where he composed hits for Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and launched Elsa Lunghini's career.

Musumarra's collaborations extend to renowned artists such as Celine Dion, Mireille Mathieu, and Luciano Pavarotti. He received the Knight of Arts and Letters honor in 1988 for his contributions to music. In recent years, he has focused on operatic pop, working with artists like Vittorio Grigolo and Alessandro Safina. His song "On écrit sur les murs" gained renewed popularity in 2016 through a cover by Kids United.
