Mdzlevari Boys’ Choir
The Mdzlevari Boys’ Choir, also known as the Boys Folk Choir "Mdzlevari," is a Georgian male choir based in Tbilisi. Established in 1994, the choir aims to foster an appreciation for Georgian folk music among the younger generation, making it an integral part of their lives. The choir consists of over 50 boys and is led by conductor Kakhaber Onashvili. The ensemble regularly performs in concerts and appears on television and radio, thereby promoting Georgian folk music.

Mdzlevari has achieved significant recognition, winning numerous awards at various festivals. These include the first prize at the country festival "Golden Eagle," the First World Youth’s Competition in Georgia, and several other folklore festivals. The choir has also performed internationally in countries such as Macedonia, Bulgaria, Egypt, Switzerland, and Russia, often collaborating with notable groups like "Rustavi" and the Tbilisi Symphonic Orchestra.

Their repertoire includes over 60 songs from different regions of Georgia, covering a wide range of genres such as war songs, wedding songs, work songs, Christmas songs, and lullabies. The choir also benefits from the expertise of Gocha Beriashvili, who teaches the young members about ancient Georgian folk instruments, continuing the legacy of Omar Kelaptrishvili.
