Larry Henley
Larry Henley was an American singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer of the vocal trio The Newbeats, alongside brothers Dean and Mark Mathis. The group gained fame with their debut single "Bread and Butter" in 1964. Henley also co-wrote the song "Wind Beneath My Wings" with Jeff Silbar in 1982. The song became widely popular when Bette Midler recorded it in 1988 for the soundtrack of the film "Beaches."
