Klein is a British-Nigerian artist and musician based in South London, England, known for her innovative contributions across sound, performance, visual art, and theater. She has Nigerian roots and developed an early interest in gospel music and theater. Initially writing poetry, Klein transitioned into music production, receiving encouragement from notable musicians like Mica Levi and Arca. Her early projects, ONLY and Lagata, released in 2016, helped her build a cult following and earn critical acclaim from publications such as The Wire and Boomkat.

In 2017, Klein contributed to Laurel Halo’s album Dust and released her debut EP, Tommy, on the UK label Hyperdub, garnering positive reviews from outlets like Tiny Mix Tapes and Pitchfork Media. Her work is characterized by heavily manipulated audio samples, surreal metallic drones, R&B-inspired vocals, and more recently, rock and metal-influenced guitar playing. AllMusic describes her style as a unique blend of R&B and experimental electronics, and she cites diverse influences, including Brandy, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Soulja Boy.
