Ketevan Badridze
Ketevan Badridze, born in Tbilisi, Georgia, is an acclaimed classical pianist recognized for her remarkable talent and contributions to the world of music. She began her musical journey at the Georgian Special Music School and made her orchestral debut at the tender age of ten. Badridze pursued her higher education at the Tbilisi State Conservatory, earning her Master of Music and Postgraduate degrees, and subsequently joined the faculty there in 1993.

Her illustrious career includes performances with prestigious orchestras such as the Tbilisi National Symphony, Yerevan Philharmonic Orchestra, and the BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra. Badridze has also graced stages across the United States and Europe, performing solo and chamber music in countries like France, Austria, Holland, Italy, and Germany. Her collaborations with renowned musicians, including violinist Lisa Batiashvili and the Euclid Quartet, have further solidified her reputation as a versatile and dynamic performer.

In 2000, Badridze relocated to the United States to study under Professor Alexander Toradze at Indiana University South Bend, where she completed her Master’s degree and Artist Diploma. She has since remained an active performer, appearing at major venues such as Wigmore Hall in London and the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. Badridze has also been featured in the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival's World Rising Stars series, broadcast on National Public Radio.

A prizewinner of numerous international competitions, including the Newport International Piano Competition and the Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev International Piano Competition, Badridze continues to contribute to the music community as a Senior Lecturer at Indiana University South Bend. She has released several recordings on the Afinat label, including collaborations with violinist Jameson Cooper. Her dedication to music education and performance has made her a respected figure in both her native Georgia and her adopted home in the United States.
