Keith Diamond
Keith Diamond, born Keith Vincent Constantine Alexander on March 11, 1950, in Trinidad and Tobago, was an influential American songwriter and music producer. He began his career in London in 1969 before moving to New York in 1980, where he signed with Zomba as a songwriter. Diamond became renowned for his rhythm-and-blues pop style and his work with prominent artists such as Billy Ocean, for whom he produced the album "Suddenly" and co-wrote hits like "Caribbean Queen" and "Loverboy."

At Quincy Jones' request, Diamond produced and co-wrote James Ingram's 1986 album "Never Felt So Good," contributing the track "Red Hot Lover." Throughout his career, he collaborated with a variety of artists, including Donna Summer, Michael Bolton, Sheena Easton, Mick Jagger, and Don Johnson, and managed groups like Starpoint and Fredrick Thomas.

Keith Diamond passed away from a heart attack on January 18, 1997, in Manhattan, New York, at the age of 46. His contributions to the music industry, particularly in the realm of pop and R&B, remain significant.
