His journey in the literary world began with his self-published poetry collection "From Englewood, with Love" in 2014, which earned him the esteemed Carl Sandburg Literary Award.

In 2022, Green made his commercial publishing debut with "BLACK ROSES and BLACK OAK," a duo of illustrated volumes celebrating Black celebrities, published by HarperDesign. He continued to expand his literary repertoire with the children's board book series "SUNDAY ADVENTURES," featuring titles like "THE RAINBOW PARK" and "THE NUMBER STORE," and his debut picture book "LOVE BUBBLE," all released in 2023 by Running Press Kids.

Green's educational background includes studying English Secondary Education at Grambling State University, earning a BA in Creative Writing from DePaul University, and a Master of Humanities in Creative Writing from Tiffin University. His commitment to making poetry accessible has led him to perform at various festivals, rallies, and colleges across the United States.

As the architect and curator of "Flowers for the Living," an artist collective, Green has created numerous recorded albums, videos, plays, and other productions. He also serves as the executive director of the Flowers for the Living Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading love through arts, academics, scholarships, and athletic events.

Green's work has been showcased in prestigious venues, including the Chicago Mayoral Inauguration and the Illinois Holocaust Museum. He has appeared on platforms like Talks at Google, TEDx, and Aspen Ideas Festival, and has collaborated with major brands such as Nike, Foot Locker, and Lululemon.
