Fun Factory
Fun Factory is a German eurodance group that originated in Hamburg in 1992. The original lineup included Balca Tözün from Turkey, Rodney Hardison from America, and Germans Toni Cottura and Stephan Browarczyk. Known for their energetic dance tracks, the group quickly gained popularity in the '90s.
Their debut album, "Nonstop! The Album," was released in 1994, featuring hit singles like "Fun Factory's Theme" and "Groove Me." The group achieved their first chart success with "Close to You," which topped the Canadian Dance chart. Subsequent hits included "Take Your Chance" and "Pain."
In 1995, Fun Factory released their second album, "Fun-Tastic," which solidified their presence in the European and North American music scenes with singles like "I Wanna B with U," "Celebration," and "Do Wah Diddy." However, the band faced changes when Cottura left to pursue solo projects, and the group eventually disbanded in 1997 after releasing a greatest hits album.
After a period of solo projects and spin-offs, Fun Factory experienced a revival with various lineup changes, continuing to release music and perform into the present day.
