E Penalver
Emilio Peñalver is a renowned Cuban saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, and orchestra leader born in Jovellanos, Matanzas. He gained prominence as the leader of Orquesta Sabor De Cuba following the departure of Bebo Valdés. Peñalver also served as the conductor of Orquesta Egrem. Throughout his career, he has been associated with several musical groups, including Cachao Y Su Ritmo Caliente, Chico O'Farrill Y All Stars Cubano, and Julio Gutierrez Y Su Orquesta, among others.
His discography includes the album "Instrumental" released in 1965 under Egrem, and "Sabor De Cuba" released in 1971 through Areito. He also contributed to the compilation "Sabor De Cuba Cubana Musical" in 1971. Peñalver's work has left a significant mark on Cuban music, and he is recognized for his instrumental contributions and leadership in various esteemed orchestras.
