E Chacon
Eddie Chacon, born Edward Anthony Luis Chacon on August 22, 1963, in Oakland, California, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and photographer. He began his musical journey in the mid-1970s as a member of a garage band called Fry By Nyte, alongside future Metallica bassist Cliff Burton and Faith No More drummer Mike Bordin. Chacon's career as a musician spans several decades, during which he has sold over 8 million records and written 11 top ten hits globally.

Chacon is best known as one-half of the 1990s pop/soul duo Charles & Eddie, who achieved worldwide success with their 1992 hit "Would I Lie to You?" from their debut album, "Duophonic." The duo was nominated for four Ivor Novello awards and won three. They also contributed the song "Wounded Bird" to the soundtrack of the film "True Romance."

In the 2000s, Chacon formed the synthpop duo The Polyamorous Affair with his wife, Sissy Sainte-Marie, releasing three critically acclaimed albums. After a hiatus from music, he returned with his first solo album, "Pleasure, Joy and Happiness," in 2020, produced by John Carroll Kirby. He followed this with "Sundown" in 2023 and "Lay Low" in 2025, the latter produced by Nick Hakim.

In addition to his music career, Chacon ventured into photography in 2011, with his work featured in various fashion and art publications. He has exhibited alongside notable artists and continues to contribute to the creative arts through both music and photography.
