Dmitry Krasnik
Dmitry Krasnik was born in 1960 in Leningrad, where he began his musical education at the Special Music School of the Leningrad Conservatory under the guidance of Professor L.I. Pechersky. He furthered his studies at the Leningrad Conservatory, graduating in 1983 with instruction from Professor K.B. Sokolov. Krasnik gained recognition in 1987 as a prize winner at the All-Russian Wind Instruments Performers Competition.

In 1995, Krasnik began performing with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the D.D. Shostakovich St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonia. He is also a member of the Leningrad Brass Quintet and is known for his performances as a bassoon soloist in both orchestral and chamber music settings. His career has included international tours with the orchestra.

In addition to his performance career, Dmitry Krasnik is dedicated to education, teaching at the College of Music at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. His contributions to classical music are also documented in recordings, such as "Mozart by Candlelight" and "Mozart: Eine kleine Nachtmusik; Overtures," where he performed as a bassoonist.
