Dario Farina is an Italian composer, singer, and record producer born on October 14, 1946, in Cairo. He has been an influential figure in the music industry since 1971, primarily known for his work in the pop genre. Farina is celebrated as one of Italy's most successful composers, particularly active during the 1970s and 1980s. He has crafted songs for numerous renowned artists, including Ricchi e Poveri, Gianni Morandi, Andrea Bocelli, Al Bano and Romina Power, and many others.
Throughout his career, Farina has collaborated with various lyricists and musicians, such as Franco Migliacci, Mauro Lusini, and Toto Cutugno. His partnership with lyricist Cristiano Minellono during the 1980s was particularly noteworthy.
