Chuck Seals
Charles Perry Seals, known professionally as Chuck Seals, was an American songwriter and producer born on September 5, 1922, in Pettigrew, Arkansas. He passed away on June 30, 1997, in White House, Tennessee. Seals was a prominent figure in the country music scene, particularly known for his contributions to the honky tonk genre through his work with Seals Records. He gained significant recognition for co-writing the classic country song "Crazy Arms" with Ralph Mooney, a track that became a number-one hit for Ray Price in 1956 and was later inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999.

Chuck Seals's career also included producing and songwriting credits for various artists, and he was associated with multiple recording labels, including Sealco Records and Crazy Arms Records. His family ties included being a cousin to musicians Dan Seals and James Seals. Throughout his career, he was credited under various names, reflecting his versatile involvement in the music industry.
