Christophe Beck
Christophe Beck, born Jean-Christophe Beck in 1968 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is a renowned Canadian composer known for his work in film and television scores. He began piano lessons at the age of five and was performing with his first band by the age of eleven. Beck attended Crescent School, where he studied piano, saxophone, and drums, and later pursued music at Yale University, writing two musicals during his time there.

After graduating, Beck moved to Los Angeles to study at USC's film scoring program under the mentorship of Jerry Goldsmith. His career took off with a recommendation from Buddy Baker, leading to his first assignment on the Canadian TV series "White Fang." Beck gained significant recognition for his work on the TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," earning an Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition.

Beck's film career was launched with the 2000 comedy "Bring It On." He has since composed scores for a variety of films, including "Under the Tuscan Sun," "Edge of Tomorrow," "Crazy, Stupid, Love," and the "Hangover" trilogy. He is particularly noted for his collaborations with Disney, composing for films such as "Frozen," "Frozen II," and several Marvel Cinematic Universe entries like "Ant-Man" and its sequels.

In addition to his work in film, Beck has contributed to television projects, including the miniseries "WandaVision" and "Hawkeye." His music is celebrated for its emotional depth and versatility, enhancing the narratives of the projects he works on. Beck continues to work from his studio in Santa Monica, California, and remains a significant figure in the music industry.
