Boots Randolph
Boots Randolph, also known as Homer Louis Randolph III, was a renowned saxophonist best known for his 1963 hit "Yakety Sax." This piece became widely recognized as the theme for the Benny Hill Show. Randolph's work was inspired by the saxophone solo of King Curtis in the Coasters' hit "Yakety Yak." Over his career, Randolph released several albums, including "Yakety Sax!" in 1963, "Boots with Strings" in 1966, and "Boots with Brass" in 1970. His music spanned various genres, and he was celebrated for his contributions to jazz and popular music.
