Arvid Garrett was a musician known for his involvement in various musical groups and sessions throughout the mid-20th century. His career began with his participation in the group Three Sharps And A Flat during the late 1930s, which later became known as The Sharps And Flats in 1947. Garrett was active in numerous recording sessions in 1947, notably including Sonny Thompson’s famous "Long Gone" parts 1 & 2. In the late 1950s, he was associated with the Los Angeles doo-wop group The Accents. Although there are no recordings to confirm, he reportedly participated in several iterations of the Ink Spots, including those led by Cliff Given, Charles Gray, and Orlando Roberson, during the 1960s and early 1970s. Despite his contributions to these groups, little else is known about his life and career.
