Arahi Martinez Carranza is a Cuban singer born in Santa Clara, Cuba, into a family of musicians and singers. She began her artistic career at the age of four as part of the musical duo "Hermanas Carranza" with her sister Elizabeth. At 19, she embarked on a solo career by joining the salsa group "Somos Jóvenes." Arahi also performed as a vedette in the prestigious "MARIFIESTA" show at the Hotel Internacional de Varadero under the direction of maestro Andrés Gutiérrez. Notably, she was the lead vocalist for the renowned Cuban orchestra "Anacaona" during the 1980s, a group that has produced stars like Celia Cruz and Lucrecia.

Arahi is part of the duo Las Carranza with her mother, Anet María Carranza Veitía. Their debut album, "La Negrita y el Guaro," features 12 popular Cuban songs reimagined in the styles of Son Cubano, Bolero, Guaracha, and Trova. The album was released under the label Cugate Clasicos Latinos. Arahi's recent discography includes "Manaké," which features collaborations with notable artists such as Cuban trumpeter Manuel Machado and singer Lolita Flores.

In addition to her musical endeavors, Arahi has gained a following on social media, where she shares her work and engages with fans. Her cover of Camila Cabello's "Havana," performed with her mother, resonated with Cuban immigrants and garnered significant attention online.
