Anton Grcar
Anton Grčar, born on January 21, 1940, in Ljubljana, is a distinguished Slovenian trumpeter and music educator. He has made significant contributions to the field of music, both as a performer and as a teacher. Grčar has been a faculty member at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana since 1974, where he has influenced many students with his expertise and passion for music.

Throughout his career, Grčar has been recognized for his outstanding artistic achievements. He has received numerous awards, including two Prešeren Fund Awards in 1978 and 1982, the latter as a member of the Slovene Brass Quintet, and the Župančič Award in 1987.
