Georgian pianist Alexandre Shubitidze has performed across Europe and the Caucasus, from the Ehrbar Saal in Vienna and Theater im Delphi in Berlin to the Steinway & Sons halls in Frankfurt and Munich. As a laureate of the Adilia Alieva International Competition he performed at the laureates' concert held at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. His current teacher is Mrs. Nino Tchirakadze and his teacher in the Central Music School of Gifted-Children in Tbilisi was Mrs. Natia Kavtaradze.

In 2026 he was named a laureate of the Wiener Klassik International Piano Competition in Vienna. He holds first prizes from the Paderewski in Memoriam competition in Warsaw, the Fair Chance Transylvanian competition in Romania and the HARMONIA competition-festival in Turkey, along with the Grand Prix at the Aliyev International Competition in Baku and at the MISA International Competition in Batumi. At the 14th Adilia Alieva competition in Annemasse he took third prize and the special prize for virtuoso performance.

In September 2026 he performed at the Manufaktur der Künste festival in the historic hall of the Zacherlfabrik in Vienna. The performance drew notice from Viennese publications including Opera-Online and Opern News. Two months earlier, in July, he had appeared at the Vienna Piano School gala concert in the Great Hall of the Ehrbar Saal.

He performs regularly in Georgia and abroad. Solo recitals have taken him to Germany and to Israel, where he has played in Beersheba, Ashdod and Rishon LeZion. At home he has appeared in the Great and Small Halls of the Tbilisi State Conservatoire, the Steinway & Sons hall, the National Library of Georgia and the National Palace of Youth, as well as in Kutaisi and Batumi, both as a soloist and with orchestra. He gave a solo recital in the Small Hall of the Conservatoire on 15 January 2024. In 2018, after auditioning for the International Summer Music Academy, he was chosen as one of fifteen selected participants in the MISA project and performed piano concertos throughout Georgia. In March 2026 he played in the PIANINO project concert "Day 88, 88 Keys", funded by the Ministry of Culture.

In September 2026 he joined composer Nino Janjgava's project "Anthology of Georgian Piano Music", also funded by the Ministry of Culture and dedicated to promoting Georgian composers. The project will produce a three-disc album of Georgian piano works for the sound archives of music institutions and the National Museum.

For four consecutive summers, from 2022 through 2025, he was invited to Weidenkam near Munich for two weeks of masterclasses with Hans-Jürg Strub, each concluding with a gala concert. He has taken part in Tbilisi Piano Fest in 2019 and 2023, MISA in 2019 and 2020, and International Piano Masters 2025, where he worked with Noriko Ogawa and Pascal Nemirovski. Other teachers in masterclasses include Eliso Virsaladze, Boris Bloch, Valery Piasetsky, Jeffrey Swann, Martina Filjak, Gabriele Leporatti, Gesa Lücker, Andrei Pikul, Boris Konovalov, Éliane Reyes, Noam Sivan and Alexei Volodin.

He also writes on music. In 2023 he presented the paper "Conceptual Features of Johann Strauss's Operetta Die Fledermaus in the Context of the Genre's Development" at the 16th Georgian Students' Scientific Conference, and in Berlin that November he presented "Innovative Musical Concept: Depicting Feminine and Masculine Elements in Classical Music by Composers and Representing Them on the Stage" alongside his recital at Theater im Delphi.

Alexandre studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki during the 2024-2025 academic year on an Erasmus exchange, completing the first year of his master's degree and performing in major halls across the city. He completed his master's studies at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire in the class of Nino Chirakadze, with Tsira Kamushadze in collaborative piano and Manana Kantaria in chamber ensemble. In 2026 he was recognised as one of the highest-achieving students in Tbilisi and selected for the Tbilisi City Hall award programme for outstanding master's students.
