Alexander Ioffe
Alexander Ioffe is a Russian metal guitarist best known for his role in the band Merlin. Formed in Moscow, Russia, in 1992, Merlin is recognized for its contributions to the genres of thrash metal, death metal, and grindcore. Ioffe, alongside influential female vocalist and bassist Mary Abaza, played a key role in establishing the band. Merlin quickly gained a reputation for their aggressive sound and became leaders in the Russian death metal scene. Alexander Ioffe's work with Merlin includes contributions to albums such as "Deathkoteque" (1997), "They Must Die" (2000), and "Brutal Constructor" (2004).
