Jackson 5
The Jackson 5, later known as The Jacksons, are an iconic American pop band formed in Gary, Indiana, in 1964. The group originally consisted of five brothers: Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson, and they were managed by their father, Joe Jackson. The Jackson 5 were among the first African American performers to achieve a crossover following, gaining massive popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s with their blend of pop, soul, and R&B.

The group first gained attention performing in talent shows and clubs before signing with Steeltown Records in 1967. They achieved significant success after signing with Motown Records in 1969, becoming the first group to debut with four consecutive number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100: "I Want You Back," "ABC," "The Love You Save," and "I'll Be There."

In 1976, the group left Motown for Epic Records, changing their name to The Jacksons. They continued to release successful albums and singles, such as "Enjoy Yourself" and "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)." The Jacksons also embarked on solo careers, with Michael Jackson achieving unparalleled success as the "King of Pop."

The Jackson 5 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and have sold over 150 million records worldwide. Their influence on music and popular culture remains significant, with songs like "ABC" and "I Want You Back" recognized as shaping rock and roll history.
