Shania Twain
Shania Twain, born Eilleen Regina Edwards on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, is a renowned Canadian singer and songwriter. Known as the "Queen of Country Pop," she has sold over 100 million records, making her one of the best-selling female artists in country music history. Twain grew up in Timmins, Ontario, where she began writing songs at age 10 and performing in clubs to support her family after her parents died in a car crash.

Her self-titled debut album in 1993 was not a commercial success, but her collaboration with producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange on her second album, "The Woman in Me" (1995), brought her widespread fame. The album sold over 20 million copies worldwide and earned Twain a Grammy Award. Her third studio album, "Come On Over" (1997), became the best-selling studio album by a female solo artist, with over 40 million copies sold globally. It produced hits like "You're Still the One" and "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" and won four Grammy Awards.

Twain's fourth album, "Up!" (2002), continued her success, but she took a hiatus in 2004 due to health issues, including Lyme disease and dysphonia. She returned to music with a Las Vegas residency in 2012 and released her first album of original material in 15 years, "Now," in 2017. Twain has also ventured into acting, making her feature film debut in 2019 with "Trading Paint." Her influence extends beyond music, as she has shaped the country-pop crossover genre and inspired numerous artists.
