Emmi
Emily Joy Green, known professionally as Emmi, is a British-Australian singer and songwriter born in Torquay, Devon, England. She is the middle child of an older brother and a younger sister. Emmi spent part of her childhood in Papua New Guinea due to her father's job as a pilot, before moving to Perth, Australia. She later relocated to Sydney to pursue her passion for dance.

Emmi's music career began after signing with a music publisher in Australia, where she wrote songs for artists like Neil Davidge of Massive Attack and Little Nikki. Her debut single, "My Kinda Swag," released in May 2015, was praised by The Guardian as a "delicate torch song" and a "cracking debut." Her follow-up single, "Sleep on It," gained attention from Taylor Swift, who included it in her playlist of new songs, and was named one of the "30 Most Criminally Underrated Pop Songs of 2015" by BuzzFeed.

Emmi's third single, "60 Minutes," was released in October 2015. Her voice featured on dance singles "Our Youth" by Sonny Alven and "Blind" by Feder, both of which charted in Europe. In 2016, she performed at The Great Escape Festival and BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, and released her fourth single, "You Said You Loved Me."

A significant career milestone was her contribution to the soundtrack of the film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," where she performed the song "Blind Pig," written by J.K. Rowling. This opportunity arose after being personally selected by the film's director, David Yates.

Emmi was spotlighted as a Brand New Artist by MTV in November 2016 and won MTV Brand New For 2016 in Australia and New Zealand, raising $10,000 for the Perth charity Telethon. Known for her pop, R&B, soul, and acoustic music, Emmi continues to create and perform music while maintaining her independence as an artist.
