Garth Brooks
Troyal Garth Brooks, born on February 7, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a renowned American country music singer-songwriter. Brooks is celebrated for his integration of pop and rock elements into country music, which has significantly contributed to his popularity in the United States and beyond. He is the best-selling solo albums artist in U.S. history, with over 170 million records sold worldwide.

Brooks's musical journey began at Oklahoma State University, where he performed in nightclubs with guitarist Ty England. He moved to Nashville in 1987, and after initial struggles, he signed with Capitol Records in 1988. His debut album, "Garth Brooks," was released in 1989, followed by the immensely successful "No Fences" in 1990, which included the hit "Friends in Low Places."

Throughout his career, Brooks has released numerous albums, including "Ropin' the Wind," "The Chase," and "In Pieces," achieving unprecedented success with nine albums certified Diamond by the RIAA. He has won multiple awards, including two Grammy Awards and 17 American Music Awards.
