Jay Graydon
Jay Joseph Graydon, born on October 8, 1949, in Burbank, California, is an accomplished American songwriter, guitarist, singer, producer, arranger, and recording engineer. He gained prominence as a session musician in Los Angeles from the late 1960s to the late 1970s, collaborating with notable artists such as Al Jarreau and Christopher Cross. Graydon is recognized for his contributions to popular songs including "Turn Your Love Around" with George Benson, "Birdland" with The Manhattan Transfer, and "Spain (I Can Recall)" with Al Jarreau. His work extends to producing albums like "Airplay for the Planet" (1993) and "Music From The Planet" (1992).
