Billy Starr
Billy Starr, born James William Stallard on December 30, 1913, in Wesleyville, Kentucky, was a notable American country singer and guitarist known for his contributions to traditional country music. His career began in the late 1940s, with his first known recording being "Blue Love In My Heart" and "My Trailer Home" in 1947. Throughout the late 1940s and early 1950s, Starr released several singles, including "My Blue Eyed Baby (Is A Black Eyed Baby Now)" in 1949 and "Hound Dog" and "Borrowed Heart" in 1953. His music was characterized by its traditional country style, and he was active in the music industry during the 1940s and 1950s. Billy Starr passed away on June 4, 1981, leaving behind a legacy of classic country recordings.
