Philter
Magnus Gangstad Jørgensen, known professionally as Philter, is a Norwegian electronic music artist born on September 29, 1985, in Molde, Møre og Romsdal, Norway. He moved to Bergen at the age of ten. Philter's music is characterized by cinematic electronica and has expanded beyond music into film, merchandise, animation, and video games.
Philter gained significant attention with his debut album, "The Beautiful Lies," which was a commercial success and resonated with a broad audience. The album, along with the single "Revolver," both achieved gold certification. "Revolver" topped the NRK P3 Urørt playlist, becoming the most downloaded track on Norway's largest radio list at the time.
Following this success, Philter released "The Blossom Chronicles," which continued the narrative of characters Blossom, Floyd, and The Bunny Man, integral to his musical trilogy. The artwork for this project was created in collaboration with Jeff Delgado, known for his work on South Park.
The trilogy concluded with the album "The Campfire Tales," featuring the Apollon Quartet, renowned for their performances at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and The Louvre. This album maintained Philter's signature sound while incorporating the quartet's contributions.

His music is also popular in international DJ sets. A sample from his album "The Legend of Iya" was used in a single by the Norwegian hip-hop duo Paperboys.
