Despite his deep passion for music, Ed also pursued a career in medicine and now practices as a physician in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Ed Stone is the leader of the jazz quartet Ed Stone & The Flowmasters, based in Detroit, Michigan. The group is known for its smooth jazz style, and Ed himself is often compared to the legendary George Benson. His influences include a diverse range of artists such as The Beatles, Earth, Wind & Fire, Ella Fitzgerald, Mozart, and Vivaldi.
