New Baltic Chamber Orchestra
The New Baltic Chamber Orchestra, known as the Baltic Chamber Orchestra, was formed in early 2000 by conductor Emmanuel Leducq-Barôme and violinist Lev Klychkov. Comprising soloists from the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the ensemble quickly gained recognition for its artistic excellence. In 2001, the orchestra and its musical director received the prestigious AFAA prize, awarded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The orchestra is known for its acclaimed recordings and has performed at major venues in Russia and European festivals, collaborating with renowned soloists such as Natalia Gutman and Denis Matsuev. Their repertoire includes works by composers like Mozart, Shostakovich, and Tchaikovsky, showcasing a diverse range of classical music.

Emmanuel Leducq-Barôme, the founding musical director, studied under renowned conductors at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory and has conducted leading orchestras across Russia. Lev Klychkov, appointed concertmaster of the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic in 1999, is also a distinguished performer and educator. The orchestra's recordings, including a notable release featuring Strauss's "Study for 23 solo strings," have received critical acclaim, further cementing their status in the classical music world.
