F. Olvera
José Fernando Emilio "Fher" Olvera Sierra, known as Fher Olvera, was born on December 8, 1959, in Puebla, Mexico. He is a celebrated Mexican musician, singer, and songwriter, most recognized as the lead vocalist and guitarist for the iconic Latin rock band Maná. Olvera began his musical journey in Guadalajara, where he played with Gustavo Orozco and the Calleros brothers in a band called Sombrero Verde during the early 1980s. In 1987, the band transformed into Maná, with Olvera as the lead singer, alongside Juan Diego Calleros, Ulises Calleros, and Alejandro González.

Maná achieved international fame with their fusion of rock, pop, and traditional Mexican sounds, notably with the 1992 album ¿Dónde Jugarán los Niños?, which became the best-selling Spanish-language album in history. The band has won numerous awards, including Latin Grammy Awards and Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Olvera's personal life includes the loss of his father at a young age and his mother during the production of the album Drama y Luz. He has a daughter named Dalí with his ex-girlfriend Ana Ivette Verduzco and was married to TV host Mónica Noguera from 2013 to 2015. Known for his raspy voice and long curly hair, Olvera is also an activist and philanthropist, using his platform to advocate for social and environmental causes. His collaborations with artists like Carlos Santana and Shakira further highlight his influence in the music industry. As of 2023, Olvera continues to be a dynamic presence in music, with Maná's legacy enduring through their ongoing tours and projects.
