Brian Potter
Brian August Potter, born in 1939, is a British-born American pop music songwriter and record producer originally from Billericay, Essex, England. He began his music career in the 1960s in London and later moved to the United States, where he formed a successful songwriting and production partnership with Dennis Lambert. Together, they wrote and produced numerous hit songs for artists such as the Four Tops, Tavares, the Grass Roots, Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds, Evie Sands, Coven, Hall and Oates, and Glen Campbell.

Potter and Lambert were instrumental in transforming the sound of the Four Tops after they left Motown Records, notably with the album "Keeper of the Castle," which included the hits "Keeper of the Castle" and "Ain't No Woman (Like the One I've Got)." They also collaborated on Glen Campbell's concept album "Rhinestone Cowboy," which featured the titular number-one single and earned them a Grammy nomination for Producer of the Year.

In addition to his work in music, Potter wrote ABC Television's award-winning 1973 Fall Season ad campaign and has been involved in developing a Broadway musical titled "Score" with Lambert and William Brown. Since 2002, he has appeared in several student films and commercials.
