Marty Raybon
Marty Raybon, born Marlon Raybon on December 8, 1959, in Sanford, Florida, is an esteemed American country music artist renowned for his role as the lead singer of the band Shenandoah. Raybon's musical journey began at a young age, influenced by his father Kenny Raybon, a bluegrass fiddler and bassist who founded the All American Bluegrass Express. Marty Raybon's career took off when he co-founded Shenandoah in 1984, leading to significant success with the band until 1997. During his tenure, Shenandoah released several albums and hit singles, gaining widespread acclaim.

In 1997, Raybon formed the Raybon Brothers with his brother Tim, achieving crossover success with the single "Butterfly Kisses." After the duo disbanded the same year, Raybon embarked on a solo career, releasing multiple albums across various labels including Sparrow, Tri Chord, and Rural Rhythm. His solo work includes albums like "Full Circle," "When the Sand Runs Out," and "Hand to the Plow."

Raybon rejoined Shenandoah in 2014 and continues to perform with the band. Despite facing personal challenges, such as overcoming alcoholism, Raybon has maintained a successful career in music, contributing to both the country and bluegrass genres. His dedication to his craft and his ability to overcome personal struggles have solidified his reputation as a respected figure in the music industry.
