Edward Larbanois
Eduardo Larbanois, born on August 1, 1953, in Tacuarembó, Uruguay, is a renowned guitarist, songwriter, and singer in the realm of Uruguayan popular music. He is most famous for his role in the duo Larbanois - Carrero. Larbanois studied under notable figures such as Abel Carlevaro and Stephen Klisich, which helped shape his musical career.

In the early 1970s, Eduardo Larbanois, alongside Eduardo Lago, formed the duo known as The Eduardos. This group was part of the cultural movement called the "Tacuarembó Group," which included influential artists like Washington Benavides and Eduardo Darnauchans. The Eduardos achieved regional recognition by recording three LPs and touring Uruguay and parts of Argentina until their dissolution in 1977.

Following this, Larbanois teamed up with Mario Carrero to create the duo Larbanois - Carrero. This collaboration became a cornerstone of Uruguayan popular music, performing for over 30 years and producing more than 30 albums. Their music reached audiences globally, with performances in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada. They have also shared stages with prominent artists like Joan Manuel Serrat and Pablo Milanés.

As a solo artist, Eduardo Larbanois has released works including "Cuerdas desatadas" (2003) and "Mandala" (2014), contributing significantly to his legacy in the music industry.
