David Joel Zippel is an American musical theatre lyricist, renowned for his exceptional work on Disney's "Mulan." He collaborated with composer Matthew Wilder to write the lyrics for the song "Reflection," which was originally performed by Lea Salonga and Christina Aguilera. Zippel is also known for his partnership with Cy Coleman on several popular songs, including "You're Nothing Without Me," "You Can Always Count on Me," and "With Every Breath I Take." His work is featured in the "City Of Angels" Original Broadway Cast Recording, released in 1990.
