Kashief Lindo
Kashief Lindo, born on August 30, 1978, in Kingston, Jamaica, is a renowned reggae singer who relocated to the United States at the age of six. He is the son of Willie Lindo, a notable guitarist and producer. Kashief's musical journey began early, influenced heavily by his father's work in the music industry. His first recording, "Live with Love," was made when he was just four years old, under the encouragement of Beres Hammond.

Kashief's professional career took off in 1992 with his first recording produced by his father. He gained significant attention in 1993 with the single "Hard Times," which utilized the "Satta Massagana" rhythm. His rendition of "Killing Me Softly with His Song" in 1996 further showcased his vocal talent.

His debut album, "Trouble Free," released in 1993, topped charts in the United States, Europe, and Japan. Over the years, Kashief has released several albums, including "We Need Love" in 1999, which earned him the "Album of the Year" at the Reggae Soca Music Awards. His 2012 album, "A Reggae Tribute To Michael Jackson," featured 18 reggae covers of Michael Jackson's songs.

Kashief's music often addresses social issues, as seen in his single "I Can’t See Your Face," which tackles racism. Known for his smooth voice, often compared to Stevie Wonder and Sam Cooke, Kashief continues to contribute positively to the reggae music scene through his performances and recordings.
