Hughie Charles
Hughie Charles, born Charles Hugh Owen Ferry on 24 July 1907 in Manchester, England, was an esteemed English songwriter and producer of musical theatre. His career spanned from the 1930s to the 1960s, during which he made significant contributions to the pop and swing genres. Charles is best known for co-writing the iconic songs "We'll Meet Again" and "There'll Always Be an England" alongside Ross Parker. He passed away on 6 October 1995 in Eastbourne, Sussex, England, at the age of 88.
