Neville Fleeson
Neville Adrian Fleeson, born on June 8, 1887, in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, was a notable American songwriter, pianist, and author. He studied music under the guidance of Mrs. Henry Hadley and Harry Archer. During his time in New York, Fleeson wrote vaudeville sketches and served in the US Army during World War I, where he was part of the cast of the service comedy "Yip, Yip, Yaphank." After the war, he joined a music publishing company and contributed to Broadway, writing stage scores for productions such as "The Gingham Girl" and "Bye, Bye, Bonnie." He also wrote songs for films.

Fleeson became a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) in 1921. His collaborations included work with Albert Von Tilzer, Mabel Wayne, and Alec Templeton. Among his popular compositions are "I'll Be With You in Apple Blossom Time," "When Is the Moment of Falling in Love," "Mendelssohn Mows 'Em Down," "His Majesty the Baby," "Say It With Flowers," "You'll Be Sorry You Made Me Cry," "Waters of Venice," and "Dear Old Daddy Long Legs."

Throughout his career, Fleeson was involved in various recordings, contributing as a lyricist, composer, and songwriter. His work was recorded by artists such as Marion Harris, Charles Harrison, and Rudy Vallée, among others. Neville Fleeson passed away on September 13, 1945, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, due to a heart attack.
