Enortis Johnson
Enotris O. Johnson, born on October 3, 1935, in Hammond, was a songwriter known for her contributions to the rock 'n' roll genre. She co-wrote the iconic Little Richard hits "Long Tall Sally," "Miss Ann," and "Jenny, Jenny," among others. Her work remained largely unrecognized until her death on August 2, 2015, when her family revealed her significant contributions to music. In 1956, she received a songwriter award from Billboard magazine and a BMI award for "Long Tall Sally" and "Jenny, Jenny."

Johnson was married to Rev. Willie J. Johnson and lived in Bogalusa, Louisiana. She supported her husband's ministry and kept her songwriting achievements private, referring to them humorously as an "undercover operation." Despite her low profile, her contributions to rock 'n' roll have left a lasting impact.
